Public transport is an essential right and a basic need for all. However, without the right supports, it can become a hostile space and a distressing experience for people with difficulties in understanding itineraries and social norms. In this sense, to help passengers travel more safely and autonomously, from

TMESA, in collaboration with the Terrasa Town Hall and the association Aprenem, has been elaborated a series of sequences with ARASAAC pictograms to place on city buses and three guides with easy-to-understand pictograms:

• Guide “Planifica el teu recorregut”
• Guide “Viatja en autobús amb bitllet senzill”
• Guide “Viatja en autobús amb targeta”

Although all this work is aimed at people with autism or with an intellectual disability, they can also be used by anyone else who wants to know better how to get around Terrassa by bus.

Undoubtedly, another great initiative that has the support and recognition from ARASAAC.
